1946 Indian Chief

This 1946 Indian was built from a basket case without all the original sheet metal. the builder wanted an older look so he had 1939 type fenders made to fit the later 1946 frame and forks. has lefthand throttle righthand advance. It is also fitted with a 4 speed overdrive transmission and 12 volt upgrade to go with the electric start kit fitted. Very nice quality build with full engine overhaul.  It has a few thousand miles on it since the build and goes down the road nicely with the overdrive trans.  18″ rims with twin leading shoe front brake and period rh police type jockey shifter from the 30’s.  Lots of other cool parts.
